Project(s) description:   1) COFT-SATT; a mobile table top gunner and commander training system for the U.S. Army Bradley combat vehicle. 2) CDP; simulated commander display panel for M1A1.  3) FPT-MANTECT; a switchable mirrored LCD display periscope used in military vehicles M2A2 Bradley, M1A1 Abrams and M1126 Stryker.
Work Overview:   Designed and packaged Electro Mechanical assemblies using Pro Engineer Creo 2.0.  Created solid models, Assembly and detail drawings for the gunner, IOS (instructor operator station), and computer case assemblies. Applied machining fabrication experience to the mechanical electrical design and assembly procedures.  Implemented design changes and resolved production issues.    Reversed engineered traffic control systems.
Work Overview:   Designed rack mounted Mechanical assemblies card cages,
NEMA enclosures using Solidworks 2011 thru 2012.  Responsible for the creation of solid models, Assembly, details, welding, flat patterns and electrical drawings.  Reviewed production fabrication and assembly procedures and implemented design changes and resolved production issues.

Work Title: Electro-Mechanical Simulation Hardware Designer/ Engineer.
Project description:
   T-45 UMFO aircraft trainer, a fully functional rear seat simulator for the U.S. Navy flight schools.  This cockpit simulator is controlled by the instructor using the IOS station,  Host, IOS, Virtual I/O and Aural computers that communicate thru the I/O rack to the functional gauges, panels and displays in the student cockpit.
Work Overview:  
Designed Mechanical assemblies, detailed parts and electrical systems for the trainer I/O-Power rack, Host, Software development and Student station cockpit system using Autodesk Mechanical Desktop/Inventor Pro-Engineer,  for the parimetic3D mechanical assemblies.  Developed trainer electrical system Schematics, cabling diagrams, terminal block assignments software hardware map for I/O, R/O and analog inputs and outputs.  Created new aircraft console panels, interconnect panels and selected components for these applications, revised cable assemblies, mechanical assemblies and detailed parts using mil standard and commercial connectors and components. Presented oral and graphical power point UMFO preliminary (PDR) and critical design (CDR) presentations to U.S. Navy and prime contractor Boeing Inc.

Work Title: Designer
Project description:  F-22 STEP maintenance trainer; a full scale replica of the F-22 aircraft forward fuselage canopy and avionics areas to instruct students to test remove and replace various systems of the F-22 aircraft. Work Overview:  
Created new drawing assemblies detail parts and selected mechanical components using AutoCad mechanical desktop for Mechanical and electrical component parametric Modeling, drawing package creation and revisions for F-22 trainer using Mechanical desktop and Solidworks.

Project description:   AV-8B (Harrier VSTOL aircraft) cockpit systems trainer. 
Work Overview:  Responsible for the mechanical design and engineering calculations of mechanical assemblies, structural weldments, simulated aircraft electrical panels, hydraulic assemblies and installations using AutoCad Rel. 2002 and SolidWorks 2005. Additional duties include the 3D modeling of fabricated mechanical parts, specifying related hardware from vendors and fabricators, data acquisition of force loading of mechanical mechanisms. Provide technical support for new product development and current product improvements. Create and maintain Engineering Drawings (Electrical

Project description:  CCTT combat training systems for U.S. Army.
Work Overview:  Designed mechanical assemblies, structural weldments, simulated aircraft electrical panels, simulated cable assemblies and installation using AutoCad Rel. 12, 13, Pro/Engineer Rel. 17 and Unigraphics V11.1 Parametric modeling.  Additional duties included composing quality assurance provisions, writing engineering change notices in response to manufacturing work stoppages, new drawing checking, and supervising designers and drafters.

Work Title:  Electro-Mechanical Packaging Designer    
Product description:  Electronic components used in Laser power applications.
Work Overview: Responsibilities included the selection and layout of laser charging electrical components, creation of wire lists, design of sheet metal chassis and detail parts, design, form, fit and function checking using AutoCad Rel. 12. Electro Mechanical Packaged  8800-V laser charger module project from conceptual design through prototype to production as a new addition to the product line of Analog Modules.
